A perfect spot for two guests, The Book Shop offers a lovely outdoor area for sunny days and a cosy wood fire inside, making it an inviting retreat in any Robe season. Situated in the centre of town and just across the road from the beach, this charming sandstone building was one of the first to emerge in Robe’s early days and now sits nestled in the garden at Grey Masts, facing north across the greenery.

Wood for the fire is supplied by the host from May through to the end of September, so you can settle in comfortably on cooler nights.

Grey Masts is a much loved heritage property right across from Robe’s front beach. 

There are two listings at Grey Masts: The Book Shop and The Snug.

Each listing has its own entrance and its own outdoor area, so while you may see other guests around the grounds, you won’t be sharing your private space with anyone else.

Please note: there is a pub directly across the road that plays live music until midnight on Saturday nights from February to April, with more frequent music in late December and January. It’s always more guitars and vocals than heavy beats, but it is part of the lively atmosphere of this central location.
